I write to give God all the glory for coming through for my husband through the intercession of St. Jude. He was nominated for a position but there was a lot of opposition. At that point, we had to contact the St Jude Shrine Secretary and lit a candle for our petition while asking St. Jude to intercede for us. To the glory of God in less than 24 hours the issue was resolved and my husband has been sworn into office. Thank you God and St. Jude. Hallelujah!!!
O Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, we offer this New Year to your loving care. In this New Year, we choose you as our Mother, guide and friend. In this New Year, may we be faithful to you and desire, say and do only the will of God. O Most Loving Mother, we beg you through the goodness of your Divine Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to keep us specially dear to you and obtain for us the strength to lead a holy life of goodness and love in thanksgiving and praise to God.
As you, O Blessed Mother, visited Elizabeth with your Divine Son, in her time of need, visit us in this New Year with your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ in our needs. In this New Year, may we enjoy the powerful effect of
your presence O Blessed Mother, with your Son Our Lord Jesus Christ, for security and safety, for fruitfulness and prosperity, for patience and perseverance until the hour of our death. With the Angels and Saints, may we experience the boundless joy and peace of your presence O Daughter of God the Father, Mother of God the Son and Spouse of God the Holy Spirit… Amen
Most Holy Apostle St. Jude Thaddeus, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of the enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases and of things despaired of.
Pray for me who am so needy; make use, I implore you of that particular privilege accorded to you to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings particularly (here mention your petition) and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity.
I promise you, O blessed Jude to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.
