As a child, I had (juvenile) Rheumatoid Arthritis which was rare. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder. What does this mean? It means that the body mistakenly identifies some of its own cells and tissues as foreign. The immune system, which normally helps to fight off harmful foreign substances such as bacteria or viruses, begins to attack healthy cells and tissues. That is to say, the immune system begins to fight against itself. The result is inflammation of the joints which is often marked by redness, heat, pain, and swelling. Juvenile arthritis has different types based on the affected number of joints. I suffered the polyarticular type as six of my joints were affected (six fingers out of ten!). This began when I was only 4years old! It began with my left knee, then to my right and sometimes both at the same time. When it was that way, I would not be able to walk. That was the situation during the Christmas celebration in 1990. Then we used local means thinking it was normal osteo arthritis but with time, my fingers starting getting swollen and then stiff. It was at this point that the Teaching Hospital (UNTH Enugu) became my second home. After so many years of treatment and physiotherapy at UNTH Enugu, one day, I asked my doctor if this was curable. She looked at me and asked if I believe in God. I answered in the affirmative. Then she told me that it was incurable but can only be managed. But at the same time, nothing is impossible for God. So, we remained on the level of managing it while at the same time I believed in God’s healing touch and continued to pray. Meanwhile, on the scale of 1 – 10, the pain was always on 6. In 2011, while rounding off my Philosophical studies in Ibadan, I had a major crisis and was taken to UCH, Ibadan. From there I got in touch with a specialist in Rheumatology in Lagos. I started going there for help and was always carrying out series of tests. At this time, I didn’t know a thing about our wonder worker, St. Jude Thaddeus. In the morning of my ordination, 5th August, 2017, I was informed that I have been appointed the Director of the St. Jude Apostolate. From then, I started journeying with this great apostle. So, my first St. Jude Novena was October of 2017. My prayer intention was complete cure from Rheumatoid Arthritis. I prayed for the same intention in January Novena of 2018 as well as the Lenten Novena. Afterwards, I carried out the tests I was asked to do and when I returned to the clinic in April of 2018, the specialist looked at the tests, looked at me, smiled, shook my hand and said – Congratulations, Moses. There is no trace of Arthritis in your system. Up till now, as I am writing this, I have zero pain on my fingers, the joints and the wrists! For the first time in over thirty (30) years I will be without the pain of arthritis, wow! This is a miracle through the powerful intercession of the help of the helpless, St. Jude Thaddeus and I am proud to share it to spread devotion to him to the glory of God.

My brother, late Obinna Cletus Ude, had polio which affected his two legs when he was 2years old. So, my daddy went to the hospital with him to consult with the doctor. After the consultation and the diagnosis, the doctor confirmed that my brother was never going to walk. But my daddy, being a devotee of St. Jude Thaddeus decided to bring the case to our wonder worker at his Shrine in St. Dominic’s Yaba. My mummy who was a teacher had missed going to school for some time because of this situation. After a while, my daddy asked her to resume which she did. So, my daddy and my mummy would go to work leaving my brother at home to be cared for by those living with us. So, on this faithful day, when my daddy came back from work, my brother was shouting, “Daddy! Daddy! St. Jude Thaddeus came to visit me, daddy! See I can walk.” It happened that in the afternoon of the said day, the great Apostle St Jude Thaddeus visited my brother and did his wonders. Behold, my brother started walking with his two legs, “praise the Lord, Alleluia.” Everyone was filled with joy and happiness. From that day, St. Jude Thaddeus became the patron saint of our family. It is a true-life story. All thanks to God and great St. Jude Thaddeus. ST JUDE THADDEUS, PRAY FOR US ALWAYS

I want to thank God for the blessing and favors greeted through St Jude. Healing, safety from danger from the flood, new birth, jobs, traveling mercies and family reunion after decades of years. I want to thank all of you and appreciate your prayers. Please continue to be supportive in the works of mercy and brotherliness. Your effort reaches to all of us far and near. I came across devotion to St. Jude on a friend’s page on Facebook. What caught my attention was that he’s known to intercede for cases almost despaired of. At that time, I was in my 3rd year in school and my exam was a week away but I was yet to balance up my school fee, without which I won’t write exam and there was no hope of getting it anytime soon. I didn’t know what prompted me to try the prayer but I’m glad I did. Two days after I started, our exam was postponed and I got a call from a long-time class mate who upon hearing my voice, asked if I was alright because I didn’t sound cheerful. I told him I was alright but he insisted that he was sure I was not alright, that I should feel free to tell him what was disturbing me. I finally opened up and told him about my school fee issue. Then and there he asked for my account details and promised to send me the money the following day. I actually forgot about the call the following day and I didn’t send him the account details. He called me and said he hasn’t seen any message from me. I sent him my account details and within minutes I got an alert. The money he sent was way more than the school fee I was owing! I quickly went to pay the fee and took care of other necessary things. By the following week, I was able to start the exam with my peers. The whole thing happened so fast and it all felt like I was in a dream. I knew for sure it was the prayer to St. Jude that got me this favor from God. Ever since then, St. Jude has been my run-to-saint when faced with difficult issues I need immediate answers to and to the glory of God I am a graduate today!

I am a convert to the Catholic Church from the Anglican Church through marriage. And I must say confidently that I do not have any regret for following my husband to the Catholic Church because in the Catholic Church I met, saw and experienced God. I was declared infertile and incapable of having any more children after the birth of my first son by a Russian and French trained gynecologist who treated me on Clomid tablets. Still, there was no conception. After two years, I started another fertility treatment at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) which resulted in the birth of my second child, a baby girl. We then moved to Lagos, where I experienced thirteen (13) years of secondary infertility. In Lagos, we attended St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Yaba, the home of St. Jude Apostolate. At St Dominic’s Catholic Church, I joined St. Jude’s Catholic Women Society where we had spiritual activities like retreats, weekly and monthly prayers and most importantly our novenas to St Jude Thaddeus, the Patron Saint of difficulty Cases as organised quarterly by the church. I religiously attended these retreats, prayers and novenas to St Jude Thaddeus and still does. To my greatest surprise, without fertility treatment and after 13 years of waiting, God blessed me with my third and fourth sons whom I had at the ages of 40 and 44 respectively. Today, I am 64 years old and my sons are 20 and 24 years old. Thus the ‘infertile woman’ has become the mother of four progressive children through the intercession of St Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of difficult and impossible Cases. There are few lessons we can learn from my experience with St Jude Thaddeus, the great friend and relation of Jesus. 1) That God is real and present in the Catholic Church in His Saints. We do not need to move from the Catholic church in search of God and His miracles elsewhere. 2) That God’s love for all His children is great and His grace is sufficient for all of us. 3) That God has the final say in the affairs of His children. Men may give a negative report about you but God’s report is always a positive one. 4) That God is a patient God and we must be patient with Him. 5) That we should not give up hope and faith in God In the midst of difficulties. In the storms of life, He is there and would calm them.

I was a driver of a tricycle (keke) which I wanted to sell for two reasons. 1) As a commercial driver, my job does not allow me the opportunity to pray as I desire. Once I come back from work, it’s just to eat and sleep as I would have been very tired. 2) My keke was already getting old. So, given these two reasons, I wanted to sell it and use the proceeds to support my other business and then change line. However, other newer kekes were on the road with “for sale” sign on them but they have not been sold. Then during the novena to St. Jude, I petitioned him to assist me get my keke sold. I participated actively for the nine days and just a day after the novena, two persons came to buy the keke. Then I sold it to one of them who had the cash. On the second day, my son’s delayed result in the university was equally released.

I was feeling very uncomfortable and uneasy especially within my stomach area. I felt bloated and it was as if something was moving within my stomach. So, I went to the hospital, after series of tests and scan, the scan identified that there was a complex ovarian cyst present at my left ovary. During that time, I was praying for the healing of my immediate elder brother who was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (a kind of cancer). With the ovarian cyst in my left ovary, I intensified my prayers for my brother and myself. At first, I started 31 days efficacious prayer to St. Rita. At the same time, I began a novena to the Immaculate Conception, then together with novena to the Holy Spirit and novena to St. Jude with particular reference to healing for my elder brother and myself through St. Jude. At the end of the novena which coincided with my birthday on May 29, 2019, I had an open thanksgiving in the church, already thanking God for a successful novena and of course for my birthday. Meanwhile, for the nine days I did the St. Jude Novena, I always visited the Blessed Sacrament. At the end, I went back to another specialist hospital where I was asked to run series of tests again and scan. While I was doing the scan, the sonographer said, “Madam, I have never seen a very healthy person like you.” Not being aware of the initial report, the sonographer concluded his report without mentioning any issues whatsoever in my body. So, to really be sure, I brought out the other scan report and showed him, he started the scan all over, checking very well in case he missed something but to the glory of God, he exclaimed again, “Madam, I cannot see anything, you are very healthy, God has healed you.” In fact, at that point, I simply smiled and told him, “Yes! I know that God I serve; the God of wonder.” By the time I went back to the Doctor with the test results and the scan, the Doctor certified that I am Ok. And indeed, I knew it, for I do not have those symptoms that I used to have. Similarly, my brother also concluded his treatment in the UK around the same time but was meant to go back after three (3) months for confirmation. So, on the 20th of August, 2019, my brother was, to the glory of God, certified FREE from non-Hodgkin lymphoma or any form of cancer for that matter. Whom the Lord has set free is free indeed. We are thankful to God for his healing upon our family.

When I came to Lagos, I had no accommodation and for one year and six months I was putting up with a family. The family welcomed me under one condition – that I attend their church every Sunday. I did not like this idea at all but I obliged. During the week, I would attend masses and other programmes at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, Yaba but on Sundays, I would join the husband and wife to their own church. Any time I had to come for Sunday mass, I must devise a means to do that, for instance, claiming to have a special programme going on. Even at that, they would insist that I go to their church first before coming to St. Dominic’s. This continued for the time I was with them. So, during the St. Jude novena in honour of SS Joachim and Anne (July 18 – July 26, 2019), I participated actively. The general intention for the novena was fruitfulness in all areas of one’s life. So, my prayer intention was that I may get accommodation of my choice and the money to pay for it. Four days into the novena, I returned home and I was called by the family I was staying with. The husband and his wife asked me to look for accommodation, for they were willing to accommodate me only until August. At the time, I had no money and so getting accommodation within one month looked impossible to me. Even if I get a place I like, how would I pay? So, I intensified my prayer intention to St. Jude Thaddeus as the novena was going on. I tell you, within three weeks, I got a befitting accommodation and the money to pay for it. I got a priest to bless the place and I moved in before the deadline I was given. Now I can comfortably come to Mass without having to explain myself to anyone

My wife was still nursing our second baby when all of a sudden, she went missing. I returned from work in the evening of this faithful day and I met my wife’s absence. When I asked, I was told that she went to the market and was yet to return. She did not go to the market with her phone and so I couldn’t call her. She didn’t return and everyone was left in the dark. In my confusion, I reported it to the police and made public announcements on TV. When no information came, I started thinking that she may have been used for ritual. Then I started going to different prayer houses and prophets. On the sixth day of her missing, I discovered that the more I go to these prophets and prayer houses, the more money I spent in vain. Then I heard about St. Jude Thaddeus and his Shrine at St. Dominic’s. I came and I was taken to the director, Fr Moses Ani. I made my confessions to him about going to all these places. I told him why I had come; he took me to the Shrine. At the Shrine, he simply asked me to drop my wife’s name which I did and offered my prayers that my wife should be found. He blessed me and told me that the novena was beginning the next day (May 31, 2019). After three days, I called him and told him that nothing had been heard. He told me to be patient as the novena had not ended. The novena ended on Saturday June 8, 2019 and on Sunday June 9, 2019, I got a call from the police to come to Ikorodu to pick up my wife. When I got there, I saw my wife who was picked up by the police by the river bank at the end of Ikorodu. She was very weak and we immediately took her to the hospital. It was after she was stabilized in the hospital that I was able to call Fr Moses to share the testimony of what God has done for my family through the powerful intercession of St Jude Thaddeus.

My dad always tells us to be weary of people that they can sell you without you knowing. I never believed it till this incident happened. In year 1, naive me felt I had made friends didn’t know they were planning bad stuff for me so in year two they struck I fell very ill ..almost deferred my admission while I was in the confines of my home behaving like a mad person…they called me from school making fun of me that I had dropped out and that they had gotten me finally…God so kind I went in search of my healing at st Jude shrine COUNTLESSS times and he begged God on my behalf …I returned back to school looking like a corpse but God did it for me I passed out in flying colors top ten in my set.

Sincerely I am at a loss for words. St Jude is always there for me whenever I call on him.

Every day I visit his shrine to ask for his help and he always answers me. Help at all times in my daily activities, in my business, my family, in all I say a big thank you to St Jude, St Padre Pio, St Rita of Casia, St Anthony of Padua and St Martin de Porres for everything you do for me.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the blessings you have showered on me. I was suffering from digestive issues, anxiety, and pain in the cervical vertebrae. With the powerful 9-day novenas, I’m healed. I no longer have digestive issues, anxiety and pain in my neck, or any dizziness. I thank you St. Jude for healing me, time and time again. For blessing my husband with a good job and for all the miracles you have showered me with. You have never disappointed me anytime I have come to you. I write to give God all the glory for coming through for my husband through the intercession of St. Jude. He was nominated for a position but there was a lot of opposition. At that point, we had to contact the St Jude Shrine Secretary and lit a candle for our petition while asking St. Jude to intercede for us. To the glory of God in less than 24 hours the issue was resolved and my husband has been sworn into office. Thank you God and St. Jude. Hallelujah!!!

I am suffering from prostrate enlargement and cried to GOD through St. Jude during your 2023 Pentecost novena.
I woke up to urinate more than 10 times every night and my penis drops urine occasionally but I wake up 3 or 4 times only in the night and my penis doesn’t drop urine again.
I believe that St. Jude will shrink the prostrate engagement to normal permanent very soon in JESUS name 🙏🙏🙏

For the past few months, I had been consistently praying to St. Jude with a heartfelt wish: for a loved one to respond to me and for our strained relationship to heal. I also hoped for a transformation in her feelings. Surprisingly, on August 12th, her heart did indeed change. On that day, I had asked St. Jude for something that seemed almost impossible, yet he granted my request. I am truly grateful for his intervention.

I made a promise that if I were reunited with this dear person, and if our relationship led to marriage as it seems it might, I would show my gratitude. Part of my promise includes constructing a shrine dedicated to Mother Mary. In this sacred space, I plan to place a statue of St. Jude as a token of my appreciation for his help and guidance.

Everything that I have worked for the past 9 years did depend on completing overseas course for my profession and obtaining a work visa that could cover till I could have all 3 attempts of the final licensing exam. Thanks to St. Jude for removing the obstacles in completing the course as well as getting a 2-year sponsorship and work visa. Thanks to St. Jude for making these processes very smooth and removing all the obstacles.

I wanted to thank St. Jude for saving my daughter’s life. My daughter is a twin, she’s 3. She was several months old when we discovered she had a malignant brain tumor.

I begged God for a sign and he delivered us to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

We are two years cancer free now, they said we can rest easy at the 2 year mark. I am so grateful to have my daughter. Thank you. I promise I will support donating and other causes for the rest of my life. I will tell my daughter’s story to everyone.

I pray a daily rosary at lunch at the Dominican Church, Rosary Shrine of St. Jude in D.C. (it’s walking distance from my office). They have a concluding prayer to St Jude, in which I had been asking for intercessory prayers for a few months for my cousin (in her 30s) with stage 4 cancer and on palliative care …pretty hopeless and impossible cause. Several weeks ago I received the below text from my mother.
…from my Mother: an update post from my Aunt and Uncle:

TO GOD THE GLORY. We’re overwhelmed with emotion! Pet scan revealed No cancer! A miracle as the Dr told Jennifer Weber. Said she’s one of a kind. Said he’d not seen anything like this. Said her immune system worked far above what should have been. Jennifer’s response to him. It was all the prayers! All the glory to God! It’s not my time. It’s not my time to go just yet. Going from stage 4 Melanoma and on palliative care to pet scan showing no cancer at all. She had cancer in her lung, spine, bones liver, female organs and scalp. Now gone. Our God is Awesome!

…as you can see, St. Jude has a new friend in me and I will be forever grateful for his petitions to God and what this has done for my family.
